Revenue have recently announced an extension to the Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme to the end of 2021.

To qualify for this extension, the employer must demonstrate to the satisfaction of Revenue that:

1. Their business is expected to experience a 30% reduction in turnover or customer orders in the period 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021; and

2. This disruption has been caused by Covid-19.

The first Eligibility Review Form must be filed between the 21 and 30 July 2021. Employers will be asked to provide details of the business’s turnover or customer order values for 2019, together with the same results for the first six months in 2021.
